Norwalk to Providence
Categories: Beaches, Travel

This morning I dropped JP off at his meeting and I headed out for a few hours of adventure. What would you do in Norwalk, CT if you have about 4 hours to kill? I don’t know about you… but I would go to the beach. And that is exactly what I did.

Calf Pasture Park in Norwalk, CT.

I can’t remember the last time I went to a beach with lifeguards.

I love my toes in the sand.

And I love soaking up the rays.

After leaving the beach in picked up JP and we headed toward Providence, RI. We stopped a few times along the way. Our first stop was out of hunger. I found a place on Yelp known for their lobster rolls. Neither JP or I have ever had a lobster roll so we knew we had to try it. We stopped in Bridgeport, CT at Bridgeport Lobster & Shellfish.

We are now officially lobster roll fans. OMG!

Then we saw signs for the PEZ Visitors Center in Orange, CT. Here I am with the World’s Largest PEZ dispenser. To learn more about this stop click here.

A couple of hours later we were finally in Rhode Island.

Once we checked into the hotel and hung out for a little while we headed out for my birthday dinner.

It does not get much fresher than this!

After dinner they brought me a birthday desert.

On our way back to the hotel we walked down to the river to snap a picture with the Capitol Building.

What a perfect day!!
