Today was pretty uneventful unless you consider flying an exciting thing. We woke up a little later than usual and I only had one hour to make it all the way from the apartment to the airport then through security and in line to get on the plane. Southwest airlines starts boarding about 30 minutes prior to departure and since they are carnival seating that means I only had about 30 minutes. I was sure that I was going to miss my flight. I am not sure how I did it but as I walked up to the gate they were just beginning to board. I got super lucky. I never would have been able to do this if it weren’t February which is the airports slowest month.

I snapped this picture right before I stepped on the plane.

And this one right after I stepped on the plane.

I had an hour layover in Denver, CO. Denver is my favorite airport to layover in when heading back to San Antonio because every time I have departed from there the flight has always gotten into San Antonio a minimum of 20 minutes early. This doesn’t happen when I layover in Vegas or Phoenix and I am not sure why. Unfortunately there are no direct flights from Portland to San Antonio.
