I have been a major blogger slacker this week. I can’t really say it’s because nothing is happening… trust me when I say I have kept myself busy. It has just been a I don’t feel like blogging week.
In order to make up for my lack of blogging I went through my iPhone to find out what I took pictures of this week. This is what I came up with.
I started taking pictures of a new recipe called Baked Ravioli that I made on Monday. But I only took one picture and then I gave up photographing it. Here is the one picture.
It turned out really good though. You boil the pre-packaged ravioli until the start to float. Meanwhile you make a marinara sauce. Once your ravioli floats you toss them in the marinara sauce and then put them in a baking pan. Top it with lots of mozzarella cheese and put it in the pre-heated oven at 425° for about 20 minutes. You can click here for the recipe that I loosely followed.
I also snapped a new picture of the skeleton. She is very sad about last weeks Seattle Seahawks loss and is trying to decide if she is a San Francisco 49ers fan now or not.
Oh and I don’t know if I have ever told you this before but for a long time now I have played a game with one of my brothers called “Guess where I am”. We text each other anytime we go somewhere cool and make each other guess where we are. We’ve been doing this for like 5+ years and sometimes there is a picture included in the text but most of the times there isn’t. Usually there is some type of clue though. Check out this cool picture that he text me the other day. I was right on my first guess for maybe the first time ever. Can you guess where he was?
For a few months now JP told me that I need to sit down and make my 2013 Travel Wish List. Of course nothing is ever a sure thing but this is what I gave him.
I have cleaned our house like crazy this week. It is a vicious cycle… you clean and then it gets dirty again. Oh well. I am not even sure why I took this picture but it is a basket of stuff I took with me upstairs when I went to clean Lily’s room/bathroom and the guest bedroom/bathroom.
Speaking of guest bedrooms. We haven’t had any visitors overnight for a while so the guest room has kinda been a dumping ground of sorts. If I had something that I wasn’t sure what to do with I would put it in that room. BIG MISTAKE because it ended up all crazy in there and by the time I thought about getting control of it then it was overwhelming. But this week I went through everything in that room and all is right with the world again. See it is super clean now.
The last thing I have a picture of is semi tragic-ish. Back in October I told you guys about the swing that JP put up in the backyard for Lily. If you don’t remember you can click here. That thing has seen a lot of swing time… until today. I was sitting out on the back porch swing and Lily said she was gonna go swing on her tree swing. All of the sudden I hear a loud scream and a thump. Then a few seconds later I hear a loud cry. Assuming that she fell off because she is clumsy like me I went to check it out. She was laying there holding her head that she wacked on the ground.Regrettably this picture was taken about 15 minutes later because I didn’t have my phone in hand at the time of the accident.
Yup, it snapped! Right in the very middle of the rope. She had a headache for the rest of the night but other than that she is fine. This leaves me wondering if she is just to heavy for a swing or if the rope was just cheaply made? It broke right in the middle of the hanging part… not on the part that JP tied.
So as you see it was not that exciting of a week but this is my life and I am totally okay with that.
