We spent a day in Tacoma at my sister Zerah’s house and spent some time with Zane and Owen. Saying that these kids are cute does not begin to describe it. They are cute and they are also a handful! The business of training little humans is no joke.
This is the first picture ever taken of these 3 cousins.
In the morning we headed out for a walk. Of course we had to stop at Starbucks for some BofC.
Then we walked over to the Tacoma Fire Station and they let us take a look at their fire station. At first I put Zane in the truck but he was very unhappy about it. But Lily had no problem pretending to drive it.
The guy said the gear was to dirty to put on though.
Our next stop was at a statue that Zane calls “fragile man”.
It is actually a statue of Allen C Mason. He promoted Tacoma as the “City of Destiny”.
Zane and Lily took turns on the tricycle… kinda.
Check out that big salmon.
Next we headed to the sprayground. Is that not the coolest name ever? They have them all over Tacoma. It was a little chilly but Lily still wanted to splash around.
I wish they had free parks like this in Texas.
The coolest part is that the water turns itself off after a few minutes. To get the water going again you have to rub the center of this flower thing. Way to conserve water Tacoma!
Here is me and Owen hanging out. He is only 4 weeks old so he doesn’t really do any tricks yet but you can’t help but smile when you look at him.
I love how Zane always opens his mouth when I take his picture.
Oh and I learned that the way to Zane’s heart is through the swing. Push him for a little while and you have a friend for life.
