Today I finished reading 11/22/63 by Stephen King it is by far best book I have read in a long time. At 849 pages it is also the longest book that I have ever read. It took me less than one week to read because I couldn’t put it down. Half way through I wondered what could possibly happen next, how can I still have 400+ pages left. Once I realized there were less than 100 pages left I didn’t want it to end. This book is not just about the Kennedy assassination… it is so much more than that.

One of the things that got me really excited in the beginning was when on page 129 they mentioned Georgie from the book IT getting his arm ripped off in the gutter. Then I was epecially excited when I got to page 138 and he actually talks to Beverly and Richie. Beverly is quoted as say “Beep-beep Richie”. IT was by far my favorite Stephen King movie. I could watch it over and over and over. I mean does your skin not crawl when you hear “They ALL float down here. When you’re down here with us, you’ll float too! “.

JP read this book about a week before I did and told me about a line in the book that he liked. While I was reading it I figured out that the line he liked was in the last paragraph on page 503. I won’t spoil it for you, but if you read it I am sure you can easily figure out what we liked about it!

Buy it, read it, love it!

Here are the other Stephen King books that I have read:

  • Carrie
  • Salems Lot
  • Pet Sematary
  • Christine
  • Bag of Bones
  • The Shining
  • Night Shift
  • The Dead Zone
  • Firestarter
  • Cujo
  • IT
  • The Eyes of the Dragon
  • Tommyknockers
  • Gerald’s Game
  • Dolores Claiborne
  • Rose Madder
  • Green Mile
  • Full Dark No Stars.

If you haven’t read any or all of these I fully recommend them.
