Family Turkey Project

Even though Lily is only in 3rd grade she still comes home with homework every single day. It is always math and reading. We have the perfect after school routine. I pick her up from school. And when we get home we relax a bit then when I am ready to start cooking dinner it is time for her to start her homework. Today it was a little bit different. She said she needed me to help her with the Family Turkey Project.

The project is to disguise your turkey to look like it isn’t a turkey so that the farmer doesn’t eat him for dinner on Thanksgiving. Kinda strange. At first we were gonna make the turkey look like a bride so I had her paint the feathers.

But then we decided to add glitter and turn the turkey into something else.

Can you guess what it is?

Unfortunately I don’t have a picture of the final version but next time I go to the school I will find out what hall they hung it in and I will snap a picture.
