Look On The Sunglass Tree

I would guess that about 80% of the people that come to our house at one point will end up in the pool. The math is pretty simple: San Antonio + dessert climate + 90° or more outside + big blue wet pool in the backyard = POOL TIME! So now imagine that when you leave my  house you forget your sunglasses. Next time you come over you say something like “Have you seen my sunglasses? I think I left them here”. Or say you forgot to bring sunglasses you would ask “Do you have a pair of sunglasses I can borrow?”. My response to both questions are the same! I would say “Check the sunglass tree”.

The sunglass tree? YES! JP got the idea about a year ago while we were on vacation and we saw a sunglass display rack in a souvenier shop. The one we saw just had a palm tree on top but it was his inspiration for this one.

Other than my two favorite pair that I put on there the rest are all sunglasses that we might or might not actually own. Don’t you love the gum drop lights that I added to the tree? Since they are not Christmas lights I am ok with leaving them on all year long.

I mean besides, look at these things.

Don’t they almost look edible?

So now next time you come over you are sure to notice the sunglass tree that greets you as you walk in the house.

For you they are free! As long as you don’t take my Oakleys or Maui Jims!

So that’s what happened to my black sunglasses! I see them in your tree.
