Why Not?
Categories: Allergies, Cameras, Nature

Today is the first day in a long time that I was able to come home and not really do anything. JP works in Austin on Wednesdays so me and Lily are always on our own. I am usually so busy doing stuff that I don’t really get any me time. I found some today! Lily was playing Barbies in her room and I decided to play with our new camera. Did you notice the great baseball picture we took while on vacation? Those did NOT come from big blue… those are from our awesome new Cannon! We have a few different lens and today was the first time I was able to play with and experiment with the lenses on my own!

The first thing I wanted to take a picture of was the flowers that are growing in our lawn. Yes, in our lawn. Uugghhh.

And then I saw this lizard. I couldn’t resist taking his picture. I tried to get closer but I scared him off. I was just telling JP the other day that we haven’t seen one in awhile. Now that it is warm every day we will see them more and more often.

Right now it is allergy season in San Antonio. There is a yellow film of pollen all over everything. It’s almost impossible to photograph but get the idea.

Here is the view off of the outside upper deck on our house. Not so shabby, eh?
