The Valley of the Sun – Day 2

In typical Lily fashion she woke me up early this morning to tell me that she was hungry. It was a lot earlier than usual (6:30am) because of the time change. We got dressed and headed to the main lobby and picked up some breakfast and coffee.

Then we came back to the room and went to downtown to the pool for awhile. Lily figured out by watching me and JP throw the ball around that if you threw up up on the water fall it would come back down. Well at least its suppose to. She got the ball stuck and had to have a resort worker rescue it.

She was happy to get it back.

We played catch for awhile.

Can you tell which ball JP is trying to catch?

We did a few underwater shots.

Here is my underwater self portrait!

Then it was time to go so we could go meet up with JP’s parents Bob and Marlene for dinner and the Seattle Mariners game.

Lily totally fell asleep in the car on the way there.

Bob and Marlene live in the Seattle area but are also here on vacation. We met them at their hotel which is right across the street from the sports complex. Before the game we went to eat dinner at Red Robin. Marlene says cheese.

Bob and Lily posed too!

After dinner we headed over to the sports complex.

This is my very first spring training game.

We were all very excited.

Check out the sky…. and that hot chick! Amazing, huh?

Lily still had her balloon but was told shortly after the game started that it was a distraction so she let it go.

We bough a couple souvenirs.

Marlene and JP say cheese.

Who’s the #1 fan now?

We left right after the 7th inning stretch.
