When it snows you have two choices: shovel or make snow angels – Author Unknown
I think that most of you know that I was born and raised in Michigan. Every once in awhile there are things I miss about it. Snow is NOT one of them. There was a huge snow storm last night and today that covered much of the north so I asked people to share their pictures with me and this is what they sent.
My sister Vanessa sent this pictures of Isabel and Sofia playing in the snow in Whitmore Lake, MI. When Lily saw the picture she was amazed then quickly said “Mom we need to tell Vanessa she needs to buy bigger shovels!”.
This morning after I saw the pictures I sent Vanessa an email about how cool they were and her exact response was “Yeah, unless you live here and have kids couped up inside all day.” I guess that about sums it up. Here is another one of the girls.
Vanessa spent time shoveling this pile of snow from their driveway.
My brother Alex sent me this picture of himself snow blowing in Holt, MI. I love how you can see that the snow is still coming down.
My friend Corey sent me these super cute pictures. Here is Lily and Kiera enjoying the snow in Bangor, MI.
Corey’s husband Jason and the snowblower!
Then there is this super cute one of Kiera.
And Lily sitting in a drift on their back deck.
Here is my oldest brother Richard about to do some shoveling in Holiday Hills, IL. He is who I stole todays title from. He blogged today with the same title.
This one is also from Holiday Hills. I giggle a little bit every time I see this picture.
Here is my nephew Rick standing in a drift. I can’t believe the snow is almost up to his waist. He is like 6 feet tall!
I text Beth and asked her to send me pictures of the twins in the snow. She said they were sick today so they didn’t get outside but she sent this one of Charlotte and the dog. She said her dog will hold it for a day so he doesn’t have to go outside!
Then she sent me a picture of her garage.
And this one that looks like it was taken from inside the garage.
My friend Erin sent me these pictures that were taken here in San Antonio. Believe it or not it was about somewhere between 20-30 degrees today and they are actually forecasting snow here on Thursday night. Here is a frozen waterfall.
And this one.
