This weekend the shortest person I hang out with is having her birthday weekend! One of Lily’s nicknames is “shorty” even though she is over 4 feet tall.

This morning we stopped at Krispy Kreme and picked up two dozen doughnuts for her classroom. Tomorrow after work/school we are headed down to the Gulf of Mexico to stay the weekend at The Port Royal on Mustang Island in Port Aransas, TX. When I made our reservation the agent told me that they have the largest pool in Texas and that on the beach end of the pool there are water slides! The forecast doesn’t look that great but we are hoping they are wrong like they usually are. Highs in the mid 90′s and lows in the high 70′s with times of sun and clouds and also isolated thunderstorms… yikes!

I love love love Lily’s look today. This is one of her new outfits. I have always thought the leggings look was super cute and Lily totally pulls it off since she is so tall and skinny. She is sporting a “paper doll” top and “childrens place” leggings! So fabulous!
